Tamer cavusgil biography

Tamer serves as Fuller E. Callaway Professorial Chair at Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business. He is also visiting Chair in International Management at Leeds University Business School.

Tamer specializes in the internationalization of the firm, global strategy, emerging markets, and buyer-seller relationships in cross-border business.

Most recently, he has been researching the evolution of middle-class in rapidly transforming economies.

Tamer’s professional career spans teaching, research and administrative responsibilities in international business and marketing at Georgia State University (present), Michigan State University (; Inaugural holder of John W.

Byington Endowed Chair in Global Marketing), Bradley University (), University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (), and the Middle East Technical University (ODTU), Turkey (). Tamer is also visiting Chair in International Management at Leeds University Business School.
